Ms. Tazeen Qureshi is a research assistant in the Economic and Social Research Department at Statistical, Economic and Social Research and Training Centre for Islamic Countries, a subsidiary organ of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, in Turkey. In 2016, she received her B.A. (Hons.) degree in International Affairs from the University of Qatar where she specialized in International Security and Diplomacy and minored in International Business. In 2019, Ms. Qureshi received an M.A. degree in International Relations from Bilkent University, Turkey. Her M.A. Thesis culminated in a research focusing on Turkish asylum law, migration governance, and foreign policy. Her wider research interests include gender policies, law, migration governance, and social development with a focus on Middle East and South Asia.
